How We Treat Mental Illness Vs. How We Treat Physical Illness
Critical thinking only comes through experiences. Don’t ever feel bad that you couldn’t think of something by yourself. You have to fail at micro levels in order adjust the thought process when it comes to the bigger picture. You can’t let the tough process discourage you, the end will always be worth it as long as you move ahead.
Last year I was walking to my dorm, freezing, and drunk. I had a tank top on and passed a guy who was also drunk and he screamed at me to turn around, so I did and he gave me his sweatshirt.
I wore it to class today and the same kid who gave me the sweatshirt gave me his number today.

Raise your hand if you started off as an overachiever and now you’re fighting off crippling anxiety and depression as you watch people catch up and surpass you while you watch your own grades slowly slip
At Wednesday night’s Republican presidential debate, Carly Fiorina hit President Obama on women’s employment.
Calling it the “height of hypocrisy” for Democratic contender Hillary Clinton to talk about being the first woman president when every policy she and Obama back has been “demonstrably bad for women,” she claimed that women experienced 92 percent of the jobs loss during Obama’s first term.

Think Anorexia is funny? Sorry. I am a survivor and find NOTHING cute about this.
Wanna dress up like an Anorexic? All it takes is:
- 4 years of hospitalization
- A nasogastric feeding-tube because you’ve starved yourself so much that your body doesn’t recognize food as a good thing and tries to attack itself.
- Re-Feeding Syndrome, which can kill you.
- Emotional struggles for years.
- A father crying and pleading on his knees begging for you to get help
- A mother who cries every time she sees you because you look and SMELL like death.
- Holidays missed, birthdays crying in a hospital.
- Almost every major organ in your body failing.
- A shower chair - because you can’t stand in the shower because you’re too weak and the warm water could make you pass out.
- A wheelchair, because you are too weak to walk and it could make you go into cardiac arrest.
- A lifetime of medications for anxiety and the health issues “Anna Rexia” caused.
- Plenty of money for multiple ER trips due to “Anna Rexia” even in recovery.
- And if you don’t get help like I do, or even if you do, a coffin. Because I’ve lost more friends to this eating disorder then anything I’ve ever faced.
I almost died from this. I know it’s supposed to be funny and shit and yeah I get that, but seriously. THIS IS NOT FUNNY. Anorexia is nothing to party about or laugh at. It’s real, it’s deadly, and should not be marketed as a slutty outfit.
Want to dress as “Anna Rexia”? Just go as a Vampire, or a Zombie. Because 1/3 of us are dead.
Things that are NOT okay for ur bf/gf to do:
• tell u that u can’t do something with ur body
(cut/dye ur hair, pierce something, etc)
• tell u that u cant wear something
• tell u not to hang out with ppl u like
• separate u from ur family/friendsU ARE UR OWN PERSON AT ALL TIMES
So this is how the thing goes, processed food, like bacon, is carcinogenic group 1 (like alcohol), and red meat, lamb, pork and beef are carcinogenic group 2 (fish and chicken not included).
I stopped eating all these meats years ago, so go green and stop eating mammals for the sake of your #health and the planet! (watch #cowspiracy!) 🌱👍💗__________________
has everyone seen the blog lowspoonsfood?
the blog is food that can be made without too much effort, with a ranking system by how much effort it takes to make it
they also have category options for gluten free, vegetarian/vegan, lactose free, etc.
if you’re disabled and have trouble cooking, this may be worth it to check out. if you’re not disabled or you don’t have trouble cooking, it’d be cool to signal boost it for those who do need it. for people with very few go to meals, food can be boring and repetitive, so this is pretty cool :*
Here’s what politics looks like if you take out the men
Out of the 22 people running for president in 2016, only two of them are women. Elle U.K. is confronting this imbalance directly through the magazine’s #MoreWomen campaign, launched on Oct. 1 to celebrate women’s global power. Their eye-opening launch video shows how easy it is to make full rooms seemingly sparse.
lol and then take out the white women
there would only be one picture with someone in it lol

Shout out to DreamWorks for giving Egyptian royalty the melanin they actually had.
to my mother,
I wish I could heal you in all the places that you are hurt.
Can someone please be fucking proud of me or something. I need at least one person because recently it seems like everyone and everything is against me and I can’t fucking breathe but I’m trying my hardest and it still doesn’t seem to be enough.
I proud of you, keep pushing and you’ll find the light at the end of the tunnel
